  Hi Galaxy Zoo.
  There is a start/glitch in this picture.
  it's odd as there seems to be something in front of the start in above to the left of the galaxy.

  The bright white/blue object to the left is indeed a foreground star from our galaxy. The colors, spikes and blue center are all optical artifacts.

  Yep! The main goal is to classify the galaxy at the center of the image (here and in all the others), and mostly to ignore the optical artifacts or foreground stars in your classifications.
