Blurred Images

Why are some of my photos so blurry? Is it because Hubble got too close? Or is it because it is too far away, so it needs a closeup?

Lot's of things can go wrong and lots of these galaxies are just too faint to get a decent snapshot !
Just give them your best shot !

Thanks Elisabeth, but I still don`t understand how they could get so blurry.

These galaxies are so far away and so faint that even Hubble can't get a good picture.
We'll have to wait for an even better and more powerful telescope. Here's to GZ 13 ! 😄

Some of it is probably do the the design with the lens and what not. Aberration effects / optical diffraction. There are other things that might be influencing the images as well since their so far away. Gravitational fields, debris. . . characteristics of the EM emission.

We do rescale the images according to the size of the galaxy, so the smallest details the telescope can resolve will not be the same size on your screen every time.
