When will Betelgeuse explode?

  On the original Galaxy Zoo forum there was a thread called "Betelgeuse on a diet?" which discussed the probabilty that Betelgeuse would explode in our lifetime. The thread can be found here: http://www.galaxyzooforum.org/index.php?topic=275414.0
