Do the galaxies have SDSS IDs...?

Not all galaxies have a SDSS ID.

Most of the galaxies in the the Galaxy Zoo classifications will have a SDSS ID.

Very big, bright, nearby galaxies are too bright for SDSS, and don't have an ID.
Some galaxies are too near bright galaxies and they have no ID.

Some areas of DECaLS will be outside the SDSS footprint.

Some galaxies imaged by Hubble are too dim or too far into the infrared to be seen by SDSS.

SDSS telescope is located in the Northern Hemisphere, and so there are no southern galaxies.

Umm, I think I got them all....

If you haven't seen it, here are the instructions for finding SDSS numbers.

All of the DECaLS objects will have SDSS IDs, since they were explicitly selected from the NASA-Sloan Atlas. These normally show up on the Examine page for any object; I'm quite sorry that it (still) has a bug which means the information isn't showing up. We're trying to fix it as soon as possible.
