    Hi all ! What exactly is dark matter and dark energy ?

    Nobody knows what dark matter is. Its presence is detected by measuring the mass of galaxies.by measuring the amount of gravitational lensing. SpaceWarps project http://spacewarps.org/#/classify helps with that. Galaxies are much heavier than their brightness predicts, and the difference is due to dark matter.
