How can I correct a mistake I made in the classification of an object?

If you are still on the same object, just click "restart" to start again. Once you've moved on to the next object, it's no longer possible to change your vote.

Multiple observers will classify an object, so errant clasifications will be averaged out.

So, I'm sorry, because I classified AGZ0002H39 (if I remember well) as an elliptical galaxy, but watching better I must say It is a spiral one...

I wouldn't worry. In the time it takes you to wring your hands about it, you could accurately classify a dozen others. Volume is the key. The more people who classify large numbers of objects, the better. The system is designed to allow for mistakes.

Go forth and boldly seek that "WOW!!!!" image!
