Can someone in the Science team take a look at these two images?

This image shows two blue, smooth galaxies. Are these blue ellipticals that are merging or is this not a true colour image?

Is that large white patch a galaxy or an artefact?

SkyServer doesn't give redshifts for either of those objects, so it's hard to tell for sure, but I'd say the first image shows either two blue galaxies merging or an irregular single galaxy. The second example with the diffuse bluish light looks like a real source, but its surface brightness is very low and it doesn't have spiral structure or a bulge. Maybe a #dwarf galaxy?
