Blue glowing object and strange galaxy

  I saw a blue glowing object like this before while classifying...what is it? Also I'm assuming this is a galaxy but its got an awfully strange non-symmetrical shape...thoughts?

  Likely a #diskgalaxy, with a nice yellow bulge, distorted by an interaction with another galaxy; in short a #merger.

  The bluish object, bottom left, is a foreground star from our galaxy.
