It's a #star, and a fairly bright one. The funny colors in its heart are the result the detectors being rather overwhelmed (or 'saturated'). There's a four-pointed star (like compass directions) that are #diffractionspikes, and other radial spikes. These are typical of SDSS images of stars (which are point sources).
