Just below the core, is that a SN or a foreground star?

Super Nova or foreground star? Also there is a sideways wishbone feature surrounding the core. The SN is in the bottom part of this wishbone. Could it be a Globular cluster? Just so far away we can't discern it? Also, look just to the right of the galaxy. There seems to be a far far off edge on Galaxy. Also to the bottom left, although that one could be a star. Lots to see on this photo! I like it! Ok, just saw the comment about SIMBAD saying it's not a SN. It's only my 5th galaxy to view. lol . . . on this website that is. I do use a 10" Dob in my backyard.

    Hi again

I agree that is a foreground star. (sorry). In order to determine if it is a SN, we would at least need two pictures taken some time apart.

Here's a zoomed out image. There seems to be something to the right, it could be another galaxy. Lots of the other dots int his image are foreground stars fom our galaxy.
