What??

    Could someone look at this and tell me whether these objects being drawn to the centre are of significance. There are also green bands around the circumference. Are they starforming areas? There are also maybe three mergers.

    My take: it's hard to say with much certainty, but I'd go for overlap for the main (smaller) round whitish blob. The smaller and fainter - and further from the main galaxy - blobs might be satellite galaxies, or otherwise close (in 3D space).

    The 'green bands' are, IMHO, mostly artifacts; there seems to be a slight mis-alignment of the color filters, which shows up in all the brighter objects in the field.
