Gravitational Lensing through an Elliptical?

  I'm wondering if this is a more distant quasar being lensed several times by foreground galaxies including the elliptical in the center of the image. Any ideas?

  The central object is indeed a galaxy. All the other objects in this image are foreground stars from our galaxy. No lensing here for me.
