Jet from Quasar or the famous Voorwerp?

Hi All,
clearly there are two distinct objects below the central galaxy in this image. Is this a quasar-like jet, or something similar, or more along the lines of a voorwerp (or even thee voorwerp)?

It's not the Voorwerp, since the coordinates place it in a different part of the sky. And the NED database doesn't have any detections of radio or X-ray emission from this galaxy, so it's unlikely that it's a quasar jet.
In SDSS, the nearer object is a foreground star. The one at the bottom is a background, radio-bright galaxy at redshift z=0.13. So the alignment here is likely just a coincidence (although you're right that it does resemble both scenarios you described).
