Supernova?

  • marcuswaltercologne by marcuswaltercologne

    wonderful!
Is it a supernova in the ring of the left galaxy?
And is it a supernova near the center of the left galaxy?
And what are the blue areas in both galaxies?

The blue areas are active star forming regions in the galaxies. The bright white dot in the left galaxy is probably a foreground star from our galaxy.

Thanks, but what is the yellow point near the center of the galaxy?

Probably a star cluster near the centre of the galaxy (or could be another foreground star - hard to tell). Star clusters are quite common in the centre of our galaxy. For example the Arches cluster.
