it looks like a merger, but the tiny galaxy is very strange. the larger one has two special arms as well

Clearly a merger but at the same time it seems that the spiral arm is being pulled towards the red object bottom left

Great merger.
The red object to the bottom left is a foreground star. So NO interaction possible between the star and the galaxies
