Rather intense color in the center, rather odd colors around it (kinda yellow/green; fainter parts of most UKIDSS galaxies are blue, aren't they?), hint of a (vertical) plume/spike ... points to a strong central PSF-like source?
In SDSS (DR8) it looks pretty unexceptional, though the center is rather bright:
Perhaps the spectrum gives a clue? It has strong Ha, [NII], [SII], and [OII] emission lines, but the [OIII] and Hb are weak to absent (as emission lines). So it's not possible to see where the nucleus is, in a BPT diagram. The continuum is pretty flat red-ward of Hb, and declines rather rapidly towards the blue: a sign of lots of dust?
