Sibling Galaxies with anti-parallel spins?

    I will assume these two are close together. (safe assumption?)

    To me it looks like the bigger one has clockwise spin and his little companion counter-clockwise. Does that look like the case to anyone else? That seems to be an interesting example of anti-aligned neighbors (if they are indeed neighbors).

    Also, this gives me an opportunity to ask how is spiral rotation defined by astronomers? Do quote the way spiral arms leave CW (-) or that the direction the galaxy spins CCW (+)?
