Weird green plain?

What is this? I don't even see the centered galaxy, it's covered by this green stuff.

It's an artifact, possibly an aircraft or very bright meteor. The fact that it's seen in only half the field suggests that the field itself is a composite of two images taken at different times and stitched together.
If you zoom out and add 'fields' (basically the parts which were imaged at different times), here's what you find:
The sharp edge may thus be due to something other than it being a composite of two different images; perhaps a perspective effect (the transient source which produces the green line is blocked by some part of the telescope/camera in the first part of its trail)?
