Very Strange Irregularities

  There are 4 symmetrical dots in the lower middle of this image, there are also others spotted about, does anyone know what this could be? Really interesting!

  looks like an pixel artifact in the image itself - certain image coding types like JPEG rely on DCT that does "square" artifact - it could also be pure chance

  The 4 dots in a square are definitely an artifact.
