  Probably two galaxies distorted because of an interaction in the past. The target galaxy is the one in the center, I looks as it it is a spiral galaxy with feature, a bar, 2 spiral arms maybe, no nucleus, and the blue indicates a lot of star formation. The white star between them is a star in our galaxy.
