Chain of small galaxies?

I'm new to this website so forgive me if this has been brought up before, but I've never seen a chain of small galaxies like this. Is that what I'm seeing? Or something else?

Welcome to Galaxy Zoo, avenger300!
These are stars in our own Milky Way galaxy. The strange appearance is an #artifact of this being a #poorqualityimage. Here's a zoomed out view:
By using hashtags like #poorqualityimage, these fields will be flagged and, hopefully, removed swiftly (it's a huge waste of zooites' time to wait for 20 classifications of this sort of image, there's no scientific value in getting more than just one or two).
Happy hunting! 😃
