The green object could be a combined effect lens plus gas filter

  In my opinion this is a gravitational lens effect, and the green object is a ghost which passes through a nebula of filtering gasses.
  A spectral analysis should be IMHO be carried on on this image.

  The green object to the right of the central galaxy is a star; this doesn't look like a gravitational lens to me. Thanks for classifying!
