Jetlike Features
-
There are a couple of interesting images with interesting features. They look like jets or maybe polar rings.

Now I also found these images, which make me wonder about the features in the first two images:

So now I wonder, are the features in the very first two images bright bars, starformation and/or a sort of artifact?

There are only a few relativistic jets in our images, and they are in closer galaxies than these. . Look through http://talk.galaxyzoo.org/#/boards/BGZ0000001/discussions/DGZ0000wrb?page=3 for some examples
I'll look at the first one.
Look up the SkyServer ID, in dr 8 and dr7.
Check NED
Check Galaxy Zoo forum.

NED has listed as a UV source and radio source.

Posted in the forum in AGN clouds, so Prof Bill Keel will have seen it, and mentioned if it were good.
Doesn't seem to be the pure electric blue of AGN-illuminated clouds.
I think it is the white-blue colour of star formation, probably as a result from a collision with that nearby galaxy.

This one is a quasar, as the area around the nucleus has a bright blue colour, not a white-blue Quasars have jets, but we are too far away to see them.

as you mentioned, many IDs including #UGC 01214 ; #MRK 573 ; #Seyfert 2 galaxy
345 references !!
Blue looks an even bright one-tone blue, so looks like an emission radiation, so something to do with the nucleus, but we are too far away to see any jet.

The object now comes in a new, bit higher resolution image.
Repost of https://talk.galaxyzoo.org/#/boards/BGZ0000004/discussions/DGZ0002d05
Possibly jet or voorweerp(je) feature companion with likely interaction between both objects. Higher resolution needed.
