I suddenly got a green picture with a red dot with a yellow border in the center. It also contains some blue light in left corner. I'm new to this site, is there anyone who knows wath this is ? Or is it just an error ? it's ID is:
    SDSS RA: 356.980846159804, DEC: 68.4119240825282

Yeah, it's just an error. Sometimes something goes really weird with the imaging. In this case the green filter is clearly way overexposed or the calibration is just weird.

If you click on "Galaxy Zoo examine" on the object page and then click on the SkyServer link, you can see a lot more info about each object that's in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (they aren't all in that survey, but this one is). If you zoom out on this part of the sky, the survey images look like:

Maybe part of the so-called cosmic scarf?

Clearly this is all part of a larger set of artifacts, but the computer wasn't sure enough to cut it so it made its way to our sample. Oops!

As a fun side benefit this is an #artifact that's also #Art 😃
