Super-massive black hole?

Looks like a super-massive black hole is creating a jet of cosmic matter. You can slightly, but surely see the line of light that intersects through the center of the galaxy!

Hmmm... I think not a jet because it is too wide and there are no unusual colours. I think it is a possible polar arm. It may be an artifact, though the line doesn't run along the path of the ccd data collection.

Relativistic jets are small features, they would be less than a pixel wide in these images. They can only be seen in 5 of the “nearer” galaxies.
