Faint Pillar Nebula?

by heliiaruy
Could possibly be unevenly appearing oval blur, but to me this wayy too much looks like a pillar amidst a globular dust cloud. As if a whale were breaching the ocean, this has a blunt conical shape with a flared edge at about internally "5 oclock". As well, what is the yellow point source nearly overlaying the diffuse margin?

Hi heliiaruy and welcome to the Zoo
You could classify this as a fuzzy (maybe spiral) galaxy, maybe barred or else you could go for an irregular. It is your call, after all ! 😄
