ERUPTIVE?

In NED under morphology heading other than spiral it has ERUPTIVE in caps. Does that mean anything other than the obvious?

The galaxy is NGC 304. Scroll down to the classification section and click on the "Detailed Classification" link. The eruptive notation is from the Uppsala General Catalog which, remarkably, is also on NED.
From there, section 4: Terminology explains eruptive as:
Peculiar object with evidence of violent outflow of matter. Note that
Zwicky (1971, p. XXX) defines "eruptive" in a different way; galaxies
listed as "eruptive" in the present Catalogue would presumably be
classified as "post-eruptive" by Zwicky. At one time a number of people (notably F. Zwicky) thought that morphological peculiarities in galaxies were the result of explosive processes.
