Spot in Spiral Arm Brighter than Core?
-
It looks like there are two bright spots in the galaxy, and the brighter of the two isn't in the core! What could the other bright spot possibly be?

Hi EntelechyEngine and welcome to the Zoo
The bright spots could be foreground stars from our galaxy. The one at the core could be really at the core or it could be a foreground star. The one to the left could be an active star forming region or it could be a foreground star.Just give it your best shot ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
