Not so sure what is this, two objects?

There are indeed two galaxies in this image. The image is very fuzzy so it is not clear if it is a merger or an overlap.

Just give it your best shot.

This galaxy is either a merger or there is a dust lane that is bisecting the bright core of a single galaxy.

On second thoughts it is plausably a merger due to the colour difference between the two sections of the object.
