Is there normally a difference in color when there is a case of gravitational lensing? here, I see two objects on either side of the central object, yet showing subtle color difference; each a darker shade. (likely stars in the image, but thought i have seen it discussed somewhere before.

Hi @Starfog,
All of these objects are foreground stars. If they were lensed quasars, they would have identical colouring as it would be the same object (the 'source') lensed into multiple images.
