Supernova?

Looks like a possible supernova or maybe a galaxy merger. I don't have the experience to tell. Could just possibly be another galaxy positioned behind it.

The orange object at the bottom is probably another galaxy. But with additional info it is not possible to tell from just this image if these two galaxies are interacting or if this is just a line of sight.
