Oddity

There's odd objects off to the left side. Has anyone studied it? It looks like either a debris tail or something above the main side object.
I'm not talking about the focus of this image, just something curious off to the side.

I would think that the two galaxies on the left side are interacting. The vertical galaxy has a spectrum, and with that big hydrogen alpha spike, it is an AGN, an active galactic nucleus. Aside from being on galaxy cluster survey, and described by Galaxy Zoo, no one has studied it in detail.
