Blob feature

  What is the faint blob / arm coming out to the right of the galaxy center? Visible in SDSS as 2 objects, the blue one is classified as star, but it seems linked to the galaxy.

  Think i figured it out, close merger/overlap disturbed galaxies with tidal debris to the right, and an asteroid at exactly that point in SDSS 😃
