Tidal debris? AGZ000b6bq

I have not seen anything like this. It is like tidal debris a very long way each side of the galaxy which is not showing any detectable disturbance . ?? Ian

I don't think it is tidal debris - too linear and well structured. I am starting to think it is either a #polar ring or a edge-on disk galaxy with a very large and dominant round bulge.
Perhaps one of the Scientists will have a better idea?

SDSS images shows a very red galaxy. But not far away z=0.09 maybe very dusty?
Maybe a huge bulge, and almost no disc?
For colours of galaxies with distance, see this chart
