Purple (magenta) in SDSS could be a pea from z= 0.06 to 0.08
Also possible a binary star, one blue and one red.

Ah, but also another magenta smudge / object 'behind' and below it, maybe associated or one and the same object?
Question should be magenta objects

changed title 😃 but not many people know what colour magenta is. Tedious explanation follows: It is not an artsy colour, it is a scienfific description of the mix of red and blue.
RGB colour code RED=255, GREEN=0, BLUE=255
Colour printers have a magenta cartridge.
So a galaxy with a blue emission line of OIII and a red emission line of HI will be magenta.

😃 im used to the RAL system for colouring, not really applicable here 😦
Thanks for the link, still have to really dive in there.
Object(s) still look non-starlike to me. If there's 1 blue and 1 red star they will both look magenta, even when theres visible distance between them?
