Starforming galaxy

  Can't tell if the dot is a new star or a supernova. It shows up on the DEcals and SDSS. It is a starforming galaxy.

  If the blue object is present in both surveys, it can't be a supernova, since they only last a few months. I would think that it is a starforming area.

  Although SDSS calls it a galaxy, it still could be a foreground star ! (Pssst : SDSS is not always right!)
