Galaxy appears to contain spheres being accumulated to a relatively young galaxy

I believe the red shifted items in front of the galaxy to be a separate conglomeration in front of the target galaxy. There are 2 lengthened smears top left and bottom right which could be from something behind the center galaxy.
The central galaxy, which is the primary galaxy here shows a relatively cohesive structure with a number of small blobs possibly being added by it.

Blobs in galaxy are starforming areas.
Red round things are red stars in our galaxy.
The elongated object is probably a distant galaxy, redshifted, as you say.
The thin red streak is a cosmic ray hit hitting the ccd "film"
