Good question. Well, it is a galaxy, for a start. Dense center is almost a bar, but not quite. But there is a long swirl of stars circling around it. the bright blue round thing looks like an area of exploding stars, called an OIII area or pea. Also, there is hot hydrogen, so it has an AGN, an active black hole that is eating stars. Interesting.
