Nice post with imaging, makes me doubt supernova now though. It seems there is 'something' in SDSS but not as bright green as DECaLS, maybe caused by the difference in filters?

From the image coverage check I retrieved below two field images which contain the galaxy. I don't know why the SDSS DR9 image seems to have something in the same location, but I guess its noise. It doesn't show in the field images;

Forgot how to search for other observations (SDSS images) of a galaxy in SDSS.... Something with comcol/plate or something...
EDIT: feels too much like 'asteroid green' to report atm..
