I'm not sure what this is. NED says source of UV. Probably a star-forming area.

Yeah looks like starforming area in an otherwise quiet dwarf galaxy, very local though. No further info found except in DECaLS looks more like a disturbed / irregular galaxy with more starforming hotspots.

The closest foreground star 6 o'clock in the GZ object image however contains exoplanet WASP-21b discovered in 2010.
