Hmmm. At this distance, hot hydrogen is green and hot oxygen is blue. Spectrum shows some of both. But why is it making such a thin line? I don't know. I'll ask a scientist.

Looks like most galaxies / stars around have a green upper side too. So whatever it is (starforming / tidal debris?) the colour of the upper part is likely false coloured green I think and is probably blue too.

The image plus spectrum suggest star formation in some kind of merger - maybe a gas-rich dwarf and more massive elliptical, say. Will put it on the list for a closer look if the opportunity comes along.
