  This galaxy appears to show radial arms rather than spiral. It's quite faint and fuzzy, so I'm wondering if it might be a supernova remnant.

  You are correct, it is a faint and fuzzy galaxy, made of billions of stars. Supernova remnants are bigger and brighter. For examples see
