Extension from nucleus

What is the feature at 3 0'clock on the center? I know it can't be a jet, but not an overlap either(?).
It is even visible in DSS2, 2MASS and DECaLS DR3 on Aladin Lite ( strangely not on DECaLS DR3 viewer itself):

Yeah definitely something there in Aladin, difficult to exclude overlap although looks like it is part of the galaxy.

PanSTARRS
Show up better in PanSTARRS red images. Maybe a distant galaxy, red with higher redshift?

Yeah that looks much different in PanSTARRS, very much like a redder galaxy in the background. Argh always that one survey you didn't check X( (because PanSTARRS usually isn't that great / helpful)
Thanks!
