Blue Ring Galaxy

by Countryboy
I have just classified a Blue Ring Galaxy with what looks like Dust filling the centre of the ring and also around the outside edges of the Galaxy. This is the second Blue Ring Galaxy I have come across. I know they are not unknown but can someone please tell me the percentage chance of coming across a second one. Also please take into account that I work on other projects and not just galaxies. Until today I have been working with "Muons" on the alignment of new radio telescopes in the Andes.
Many thanks,

It is a simulated galaxy, and for some reason, there are many ring shapes being created. So the chances are near certainty that you will come across another one soon.
