An eye-like star.

Can someone explain to me what the object to left is and how is it formed? Could it be a star with a galaxy in front of it? If so how big is the star?

It is a foreground star in our own galaxy, and the center has overexposed the ccds. Faint mag 14
yellow star, center is overexposed.

Here is the neighbourhood. Even the red one is too dim to be seen with the unaided eye.

click "Galaxy Zoo examine" then "SDSS SkyServer" then "navigate" then click on the object. Use object ID for your question or statement.
