A more realistic Illustris ring galaxy

Illustris has lots of "ring" galaxies that have distinct blobs of starbursts around the outer edge. This one is different - it actually looks like a merger-created polar ring galaxy. The blobs have been tidally smoothed out in the ring, and there is an arc of possible tidal debris perpendicular to the disc and through the core. It would be interesting to know the merger history of this object.
