What is this

If it is a galaxy, its either exploding, or its a super nova caught exploding.

I sure would like a little more detail on the way these photos were taken. And if we can say stars (Or Super-Nova) in the classification.

Thoughts everyone ???

Sorry, this is not a supernova. It is a simulated galaxy from the Illustris dataset.

Somehow they do produce a number of these galaxies with a starforming ring
