Blue object

  Incredible 'blue object' with what appears to be a trail of stars leading away to the upper left at the edge of this galaxy. Anybody know what this is? Is it a collision? The arm closest to the object appears to have a more pronounced 'sweep'. Could it be a result of interaction with this blue object?

  What a gorgeous disturbed spiral galaxy ! And the blue clumps are active star forming areas in the galaxy.
