Curious image

I'm curious about the star to the lower left. It's appears to have gases being drawn off it by a seemingly smaller object yet the other objects in the image seem unaffected. Could this be an illusory effect?

Welcome DennisH.
Difficult. . The amber streak? Possible gravitational lens arc, maybe balanced on the other side by amber spot. .Also present in SDSS, though not as clear and balancing spot is a different colour to the arcing spot. Almost always, each side of a gravitational lens must be the same colour. But GAMA/KiDS doesn't have much colour, so more difficult to decide.
