It looks pressed on the poles

    I thought that there would be an image Hubble Space Telescope image in the archives, but the galaxy seems to be on a blank place on the image.

    Unfortunately there isn't anything available in the Hubble Legacy Archive. Can be checked with the Footprint tab.

    There does seem to be darker areas above and below the nucleus best visible in r band, perhaps a faint polar ring / dust? Slightly visible in above image as red / pink because r band is fainter there.
